A love for horses

 

Introductory course to the horse as a hobby, as a species, and as a therapist:

 

Join us on a journey of discovery in the horse world! Get a glimpse of the horse as a species, how they interact with each other and with us, what magical effect they have on people, and try your hand at riding. Everything is under expert safe conditions and closely supervised.

 

Opera- and horse loving Linda Rognø, is general manager at "Hestegarden", a farm that provide welfare services (Green Care) and animal assisted activities for different groups of people, with the aim to highten quality of life through contact with animals.

 

We recommend that you bring wellingtons, or other riding-friendly shoes with similar small heel, which is suitable for the stirrup.

 

Duration: 2 hours

Date: 22. August, 10:00 and 14:00 hrs

Location: Furnes Farm. We meet at Tunet, Åmot Operagard. Transport provided (approx. 15 min drive)
